The LEFS slider features a load mounting platform above a ball screw drive.Ìý A flexible seal band permits platform travel while preventing foreign matter from entering the drive.Ìý Slider advantages include a low profile height and shorter length than a rod with equivalent stroke.Ìý The optional parallel mounted motor places the motor alongside the platform axis.Ìý This arrangement is shorter than the inline motor, and avoids interference with the load mounting surface.Ìý This model is fitted with an AC servo motor with incremental or absolute encoder.Ìý Optional drivers include pulse input and various communication protocols including Ethernet.
