Standard Guided Cylinder - MGP
Series MGP is designed for high side load applications found in material handling, lifting and stopping. The cylinder utilizes an ultra-compact design by incorporating the cylinder body as part of the guide body. As the stroke length increases, so does the bearing length, thus enhancing the cylinder's load bearing capacity. Order made options for this series include adjustable air cushions, heavy duty guide rods, copper free, high temperature, and low speed.
MGPM-Z, Standard Guided Cylinder, Slide Bearing
The MGPM is a compact body actuator integrated with internal guide shafts to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator's rod and seals. The carbon steel alloy slide bearing provides lateral stability protecting it from side load impacts, suitable for stopping applications.

MGP-AZ, Standard Guided Cylinder with Air Cushion
The MGP-AZ is a compact body actuator integrated with internal guide shafts to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator's rod and seals. The air cushions allow the guided cylinder to absorb nearly three times as much kinetic energy as standard rubber bumpers while suppressing noise and vibration at the stroke end. The (A) press fitted high precision ball bushing is suitable for minimizing the actuator's plate displacement. The (L) high precision ball bushing allows for smooth operation that ensures stable travel resistance, suitable for pushing and lifting applications. The (M) carbon steel alloy slide bearing provides lateral stability protecting it from side load impacts, suitable for stopping applications.

The MGPMF-Z is a compact body actuator integrated with internal guide shafts to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator's rod and seals. The carbon steel alloy slide bearing provides lateral stability protecting it from side load impacts, suitable for stopping applications. It is available with a plate side flange.

MLGP-B/F, Standard Guided Cylinder with One-way Lock
The MLGP-B/F is a compact body, locking actuator integrated with internal guide shafts to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator's rod and seals. The locking mechanism can be specified for either the extension side (F) or the retraction side (B) of the stroke. The brake spring, locking mechanism will engage when air pressure is lost for drop prevention applications and can be released by reintroducing air pressure or via a manual process. The (L) high precision ball bushing allows for smooth operation that ensures stable travel resistance, suitable for pushing and lifting applications. The (M) carbon steel alloy slide bearing provides lateral stability protecting it from side load impacts, suitable for stopping applications.

Series MGP with environmental options is designed for tougher applications and still utilizes an ultra-compact design as the standard MGP actuator.
- XC22 uses fluororubber seals for better chemical resistance
- XC4 includes heavy duty wipers on the piston and guide rods to keep dry contaminants from entering the inside of the actuator
- XC6 utilizes stainless steel rods and hardware for better corrosion resistance
- XC35 includes rod coil scrapers for removing frost, ice, weld spatter and cutting chips from the piston rod to protect the seals
- XC85 utilizes food grade grease as the internal lubricant

The MGPM Water Resistant cylinder is a compact body actuator integrated with internal guide shafts to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator's rod and seals. The water resistant option includes rod wipers on the guide rods and piston rod. This option is ideal for application exposed to coolant and water splashing.
